The Ministry of Energy also joined in the launch of the “Clean Sri Lanka” national program. Held at the Ministry of Energy located on Galle Road, Colombo 03, the event featured a message from the Minister of Energy, Eng. Kumara Jayakody.
“As the Minister of Energy, I, along with all the entities within my portfolio, particularly the Ceylon Electricity Board, the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation, and the Sri Lanka Sustainable Energy Authority, will collaborate to achieve the goals and objectives of the “Clean Sri Lanka” program, under the leadership and guidance of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.”
“I would like to invite all citizens of this country to join the “Clean Sri Lanka” program, which aims to advance the economic, social, cultural, moral and environmental progress of our country,” he had stated.
The Secretary to the Ministry of Energy, Prof. Udayanga Hemapala, along with senior officials and staff of the Ministry of Energy, participated in this event.
