The report of the committee chaired by Prof. Rahula Athalage and consists of nine members who were appointed to investigate the power outage occurred affecting the entire and to take measures to minimize such situations handed over their committee report to Hon. Dullas Alahapperuma, Minister of Power this evening (24).
This committee held their first committee meeting on last 18th and this report was prepared having investigated all the factors caused in respect of this situation.
The Minister in Charge of the Subject will examine the report with special attention tomorrow (25th) and submit to the Cabinet day after tomorrow (26th).
