“Be prepared before the risk”

Instructions from the Minister Dullas….

Hon. Dullas Alahapperuma, Minister of Power has advised the parties concerned to strengthen the security of System Control Unit of the CEB with immediate effect.

The Minister has instructed as the above, while he was on an observation visit to the System Control Unit of the CEB to investigate the sudden power outage recently occurred putting the entire island under pressure.

The System Control Unit which stables the power supply of the entire country should be frequently secured and the Minister in Charge of subject stressed that it is a national responsibility to look after a very decisive and sensitive centre of power supply.

Accordingly, Hon. Dullas Alahapperuma, Minister of Power has informed Mr. Kamal Gunarathna, Secretary to the Ministry of Defense in respect of deploying officers of the Special Task Force in addition to the officers who are deployed at present for the protection of the System Control Unit.
