Applications are issuing through regional offices and customer service centres of CEB
Electricity connection in a minimum number of days after registration In accordance with the government target to achieve 100% of electriification of Sri Lanka by the end of the year 2015, the first phase of the “Ratama Eliyai – Adura Duralai” the National electrification program had been launched with the to provide electricity to the public for concessionary basis. The process of issuing applications has been started on the instructions of Mr.Ranjith Siyambalapitiya, the minister of power and renewable energy.
Applications are available at Area Engineers’ Offices and customer service centres of Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) Island-wide. Households who want to register with these schemes have to submit their duely filled applications to the area offices at the earliest. The ministry of power and renewable energy plans to provide new electricity connection in a minimum number of days.
Accordingly, the ministry of power and renewable energy openly request the public those who do have not received grid electricity yet to collect the relavant applications from the Ceylon Electricity Board customer service centre and get registered soon as possible for this electricity concessionary loan scheme.
