Government of Iran is to assist the development of rural electricity projects in Sri Lanka

The Iranian Government has agreed to assist in developing rural electricity projects in Sri Lanka. Special discussion was held recently between Mr.Ali Salehabadi, the Chief of the Export Development Bank of Iran and the Minister of Power and Renewable Energy Mr. Ranjith Siyambalapitiya at the Ministry. Accordingly, the support of the government of Iran will be received during the next few months he further said.
