New era to Green Energy!

The energy conservation is found to be an element of culture. Energy conservation can only be induced among people through a cultural transformation and such as to initiate a productive and effective energy culture, LECO declared a “Green Energy Zone” in Kotte area on 8th April 2015. This event was graced by Hon. Patali Champika Ranawaka, minister of Power & Energy. In the effort of making the “GREEN ENERGY ZONE” a success, following major projects are to be conducted.
Among the distinguished gathering were; Ven. Maduluwawe Sobitha Thero, Dr.Harsha de Silva, Deputy Minister of Policy Planning, Economic Affairs, Dr. B.M.S. Batagoda, Secretary Ministry of Power and Energy and number of government officers and community leaders.
