The rumor was spreaded as if the information was received from the officials of the petroleum corporation. The second was that there would be an impending fuel shortage. Responding to the media reports the minister said that people who are external to our ministry are saying that they would not allow increasing fuel prices. But we reaffirm that there would be no price hike or a shortage of fuel in the near future. People who are spreading these rumors are looking to create a panic among people and in the market. It is a serious crime.
